why web design?

I enjoy the web experience and I like bringing ideas to life. I really enjoy graphic design and all the fun that Photoshop provides. That brings me to web design. If you like this website, then you might be interested in having me put together a site for you.

Here are a couple examples of my work:

• www.tinagallagher.com. The welcome page was done in Flash, and the rest of the site is put together with HTML and CSS.
• www.robertfarrior.com. All done with HTML/CSS. JW Player and Highslide proved valuable as well.
• www.clayseyeverett.com. This whole thing was done with HTML and CSS. We even found a game template that we customized to include her head and voice. It was a lot of fun!
• www.dumpstertequila.com. This was my first foray into Joomla! And I love it. It's so versatile, customizeable, and expansive. Great tool.

how much?

$75 an hour, billed in quarter-hour increments. For a reference point, a 10-page website will take me 4-5 hours if all the pages are based on the same template (like this one). Let me know what your ideas and needs are and we can go from there.

items of note

1. I'm familiar with Flash, Joomla!, HTML/CSS, a bit of javascript, and various e-commerce solutions...and I'm always learning more.
2. I can create sites for you that don't require additional costs for content update -- I can give you control over that so it's as simple as updating a blog.
